Marketing fails - when chasing the next gimmick ends in poor taste. 

I'll start it off with J London 'The Ripper'. It seems to me that Dahmer deli meats would be both equally unappealing and in bad taste. I can guarantee these people won't get a dime from me, no matter how they perform.
