long term storage - glassine or cellophane?

Hey all -

Looking at how I want to keep my long term storage boxes.  I picked up a roll of glassine and cellophane and was going to use the glassine to line the interior and then wrap the box with cellophane and tape seal the whole thing.  But then I was thinking that glassine may be better. Wondering what the consensus is?

What's your thinking behind using the glassine? I see (from a quick google search) that it is moisture resistant. Is that your thinking in using it? or just for a display purposes?

I know some folks have talked about vacuum sealing their boxes and having that extend the life of a cigar some. (eg. they let them age for 20 years and the vacuum sealed boxes may smoke like they're only 10-15 years old). Obviously I think this is only recommended for long term aging. I have never bothered using anything special to 'age' my boxes. I just stick them in my humidor and let the magic happen.
