Popular Post cgoodrich Posted July 23, 2023 Popular Post Posted July 23, 2023 A BR acquisition about 2 months back. Beautiful Colorado Maduro wrapper. Nice firm resistance when squeezed, but no hard spots to be found. Actually forgot to check cold draw flavor 🤦🏼♂️ Started off with a nice light Cuban twang that continued through the first third. Draw resistance was spot on. Burn started a little wonky, but corrected itself. Good smoke output, light bodied, med-mild strength. Flavor was predominantly nutty (walnut) and woody. Midway the strength became medium, a little heavier bodied with the walnut receding and a bit of milk chocolate showing up. Woodiness stayed the same. As it neared the end the walnut mostly disappeared, replaced with dominant chocolate flavor. The woodiness receded as well but it started to pick up notes of espresso. Required a touch up light because I was distracted and left it too long, otherwise the burn was very good. A very pleasant 45 min smoke. Not too complex, but very satisfying. I would give it a solid 90. 7
Pigpen Posted July 27, 2023 Posted July 27, 2023 That's a fair reflection of my experiences with these. Managed to pick up a few boxes in Spain when they hit the shelves and have just opened the first box this year.
