Fireball Posted July 15, 2023 Posted July 15, 2023 I posted this in the BR thread, but it occurred to me this may be a better place to get information. I know that sellers are vetted on BR, but are there any tips people have for how to identify issues with sellers and their quality? Obviously FOH and COH aren’t an issue, but I am just looking for ways to ensure I get what I want out of my bids. Thanks.
Popular Post El Presidente Posted July 15, 2023 Popular Post Posted July 15, 2023 Buy the seller. Past performance is a very strong indicator. There is a dispute resolution mechanism within the BR platform. 1.96% of BR transactions have sought dispute resolution (nearing 16000 sales now). That is remarkably low and far lower than I had anticipated at launch 39 months ago. Successful fraud (by seller and buyer) is rare. Vetting of listings by BR admin is thorough. Nothing is 100% though. There is always a measure of risk. For some it is a risk worth taking. For some it isn't. Everyone has a different risk tolerance.....that is life BR has on any given day the most diverse cuban product selection in the world. I also didn't think that would have been the case 39 months ago. While there are some eyebrow raising prices, there are also plenty that are sold well under todays RRP. The market determines. 8
