My Kind Of Sports Memorabilia...

Never really been one for actually purchasing sports memorabilia... framed jerseys and the like... however, the notion has always interested me, and recently I found an item I was willing to take the plunge on... 

Beer! 

Perfect. Great for a celebratory tipple... and, on the flip side, if your team tanks on the path to glory then you have an aide in helping you wipe that memory. 

It should be noted that the best way to actually tank a team's form is to produce a mid-season beer with the word "glory" in the title. My beloved Rabbitohs were flying high - 6 wins in a row, top of the NRL table - when I purchased this case... they immediately shat the bed and lost badly to a low-table team. 🤦‍♂️

If all goes pear-shaped from here, at least Young Henrys is a top-shelf independent producer - I can always take solace in my donation to their wonderful humanitarian cause.

I have a treasure trove of sports memorabillia. 

Every single piece having been purchased drunk at various fund raising auctions. 

Most now will be found in the closet next to my Judo suit and guitar.

Latrell must have been told by Crowe he needs to be fit for the game this weekend, to make up for the loss. Probably why he pulled out of SoS for a minor calf injury.

Jesus. That's a major blow. Pretty sure the selection of Tevita Pangai Jnr pretty much guarantees that Qld will be playing with an extra man for some or most of the game. Hope I'm wrong but if there's ever an arena for him to lose his sh*t it's Origin.
