Lunettesman Posted March 17, 2023 Posted March 17, 2023 Hello everyone, I hope everyone is fine and having a good time. I purchased that Raching humidor end of December 2022. I’ve filled the tray with water, removed the tray for singles, put my boxes in it and now it has been running for three month. Here’s my problem. Since I’ve it, the ventilation system has never been on and the humidity has been always at 72-73% which is way too high form me. Just having the water tray filled without the fans running makes the interior way too wet. I’ve then added 320g bovedas and also 65% beeds to try to buffer. But it doesn’t work. I was thinking about removing the water tray and put many boveda 65% in it. I’m not cheap when it comes to storage, but long term it sounds like a heavy investment. I would not really see any advantage in having that humidor filled with boveda when I could just be using big jumbo plastic sealed box where my boveda would last forever. What would be your suggestion? I’m open to every suggestion. Thanks!
jaydenx Posted March 17, 2023 Posted March 17, 2023 dude. I have same issue for my humidor, most likely we are running into same issue the bottom of the humidor RH like 70-72, and top only have 64-66. looking for the the solution as well
Lunettesman Posted March 17, 2023 Author Posted March 17, 2023 Well. It's a solid 72-74 in all the humidor. Top to bottom. I should add that the room humidity is 30% and the temperature 21-23 celcius
