Popular Post SingleBarrel Posted February 3, 2023 Popular Post Posted February 3, 2023 Was saving her for a special occasion. Definitely was the most bready cigar I’ve ever had. All throughout, the flavors were mostly from the baking industry. Upmann shortbread, gingerbread, vanilla beans and coffee beans. Wouldn’t seek this cigar again for the price, although was glad to finally try one. 10
Tunkat92 Posted February 3, 2023 Posted February 3, 2023 Thanks for the review! How would you rank it against the other HU Mags?

This was the only EL Magnum I’ve ever had. Compared to the regular production line, 46’s, 50’s, and 54’s, the EL mag 55 beats it, but not by much. I’ve had PSP mag 46 boxes and they were amazing. Dark roasted coffee beans, shortbread, they are hard to beat. Also enjoyed the 54’s, just that large ring gauge makes a great difference in the change of flavors to me. Did not however enjoy the 50’s, just the Upmann shortbread flavor the whole way throughout, smoked 3 of them, they were 2020’s. If you get a opportunity to pick one of the EL 56’s up I actually would take it. Just because the flavor profile was so unnecessarily bready and dark it was very interesting.
