Popular Post Chas.Alpha Posted January 3, 2023 Popular Post Posted January 3, 2023 First off: I am happy to be on the 2023 tasting panel for the next round of Nudies! These are blends that even pikers like me can appreciate as 1st rate quality cigars at budget prices!!! I tended to prefer the Maduro side of this 30 pack, but have recently switched over to the Colorado/Rosado camp. Malt, grandma's sourdough bread and a bit of leather. The construction on every one of these has been perfect! I'm tempted to throw mushroom/forest floor in this note. 2nd half: Building. The malt and barnyard gives way to a bit of citrus and milk chocolate. No coffee which would be normally be found with this profile. This cigar builds... Cocoa and coffee are present , but the malt and milk chocolate begin to dominate. The citrus becomes more present and there is a strong bit of what we call "Cuban Twang." The blenders of these ain't playin'... Strong build to the finish. The malt/oat flavors gave way to the cocoa/butter flavors, with the nice bit of citrus and a bit of Cuban "twang!" How many more of these have you got??? ... 🤔 11
Islandboy Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 Your description is spot on. These outperform a CoLa of similar age in every category, especially construction. Wait...did I just say that out-loud?
Perla Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 Thanks for the review. The maduro is not for my taste buds. If someone is interested (EU) feel free.
