Popular Post VictorEremita Posted November 28, 2022 Popular Post Posted November 28, 2022 I bought a handful of El Principe singles several weeks ago, only because there was so little to choose from at the tobacconists, and I've enjoyed them so much that I later bought a full box to age. The notes here are for the last of the singles, box-code unknown, smoked this morning. Slightly box-pressed. Lovely reddish wrapper. They've all had fruity notes at cold and throughout (candied, dried, stewed). Rich mouthfeel. Toasted wheat through the nose. Breakfasty. Second half had suggestions of dark-roast black coffee. Smoke from the cigar at rest was fragrant. No unpleasantness nor ammonia qualities. About a 40-minute smoke with water (and a book). Burn was a little wonky, but that's probably my uneven lighting. Never went out. Hours after smoking the smell would return pleasantly to my nostrils. ★★★★☆ 9
El Presidente Posted November 29, 2022 Posted November 29, 2022 Love the Principe. Reminds me very much of my favourite NC in the Padron Anny Principe. Both deliver (more times than not) from beginning to end. Both represent their marque superbly. 4

NSXCIGAR Posted December 6, 2022 Posted December 6, 2022 One of my favorite CCs always and forever. Smoking through some LGR MAY 17s and they are superb. Best I've had since the EML 13-14s.
