Popular Post saltbox Posted October 25, 2022 Popular Post Posted October 25, 2022 Have had these resting for over a year now but somehow haven't gotten around to cracking open the box until now. Big fan of the Trinidad flavors but don't pull them out too often. First third: Opens with a nice graham cracker and toasted bread. Burnt sugar cookie. Cookie dough and coffee. Great baked good flavor notes. Middle third: Not too much change. Halfway through, there's suddenly a really nice rich brown sugar note. Last third: Not much change again but that's nothing to complain about. The cigar picks up a bit of harshness, which was always sort of there but picked up intensity at this point. Overall: Quite tasty even with the harshness. I'm surprised that even with over a year of rest there's still the harshness but some more age will hopefully smooth that out and allow the cigar to improve a bit more. 89/100 5
