This sample was one of the cigars that was a bit busted up when I bought it. Fortunately rolling papers have proven to be fantastic at solving any structural integrity issues. The last one of these I had was a 94 for me, which I believe is tied for my own second highest rating.

First third: Opens quite light bodied, but picks up quickly and presents with the expected creamy toasted tobacco and brown sugar sweetness. Not much change from this though.

Middle third: The brown sugar takes on a more dark caramel characteristic, but there's otherwise not much change, still just pleasant toasted tobacco and caramel sweetness.

Last third: Still no change. The flavor profile is good, nothing to complain about or write home about though.

Overall: This one was a letdown. It was good, but I was expecting more than good. The last sample I had was far more complex, with richer caramel, cinnamon and baking spices, graham cracker. This one was just... okay. 87/100
