That was a bloodbath round for many of us 🙄

No clear round winner this week but a top score of 9 was a job well done!

There are plenty of teams showing some serious deficiencies. Others look like fools gold. Let's get the whips a cracking into week 7.

Wow, was this week ever bad. Every once in a while I pick the opposite of my instincts. This should have been the week.

Ah well. Still have booze and cigars, so there's that

Cheers

I just need to pick opposite of my instincts every week. My picks this year have been horrible. It doesn't help that the football itself has also been horrible more often than not.

not strictly on topic but lord spare me - these are billion dollar franchises. now if you have one and are under every possible form of scrutiny, would you not do everything possible to ensure that the little things were taken care of?

not our muppet. you'd honestly swear that this was an april fool's day prank.

chances of beating green bay? about as high as this trainwreck ever being run competently.

With all the negative headlines swirling around the Washington Commanders, the organization has little margin for error. Any mishap on and off the field gets magnified. On Wednesday, the Commanders suffered another public relation hit.

A fan who won a 50/50 raffle from the Washington Commanders Charitable Foundation, claims the $14,822 check bounced.

The prize was awarded for the Commanders’ Week 1 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Drew a Commanders’ season ticket holder from Rockville called Team980 to confirm to Chris Russell the check bounced. Drew claimed to have photos of the check as proof that was sent out last week.

His bank put him in contact with a representative of the team.

A Commanders spokesperson released a statement that the team is looking to resolve the situation.

“We’ve reached out to the fan and sent an electronic payment directly to his account,” the spokesman said, per Nicki Jhabvala of the Washington Post. “It was a bank error, and we have reached out to the bank to determine what happened, and to ensure it doesn’t happen again.”

The bounced check adds to the recent negative headlines surrounding the team. For instance, the team has fumbled the jersey retirement of the late Sean Taylor. Their home stadium, FedEx Field, has been in shambles. Attendance at home games has tumbled.

Currently, the team’s owner Dan Snyder is under fire amid being the subject of several ongoing investigations. Other NFL owners have reportedly grown tiresome and may be ready to oust Snyder.

What an absolute dumpster fire of an organization.
