Partagas Serie D No. 4 ABO OCT 19 (PRW)

Crazy heatwave in California going on right now, but managed to grab some time in the evening just before the worst of the heatwave kicked in. Had my wife try out another Partagas Short TSM MAR 19 while I had the SD4.

First third: opens with a nice rich savory cream with a touch of hay. Sweet paprika and spices on the finish. Creamy sweetness and even a touch of cookie.

Middle third: creamy and rich powerful leather, coffee, and spices. Definitely erring on the side of darker and more powerful of the PSD4s I've had.

Last third: not much evolution here, just more of the same tasty savory cream, leather and coffee.

Overall: my palate was feeling a bit burned out so I had taken a few days off cigars, and this was a nice welcome back. Rich and powerful flavor and probably my clear favorite of the robustos. 90/100
