Partagas Serie P No. 2 2021 (TPRW)

Don't have a box code as I think this was a freebie thrown in with a purchase at some point. Just over 8 months of rest now, so hopefully regardless of how young this is it's ready to smoke.

First third: opens with cedar and cream and a touch of savory spices on the finish. Some light creamy coffee eventually joins the flavor profile, and that Partagas paprika note pokes its head in. This cigar's definitely lighter in flavor than the previous ones I've smoked so far.

Middle third: more of the same. Again, this one has been exceedingly light bodied compared to others and it's a real bummer. PSP2 aren't supposed to be the fullest bodied of Partagas, but I was expecting more than this.

Last third: unfortunately, more of the same. If the flavor had more intensity it would be easier to pick out more flavor notes, but with the flavor strength this low and muted, it's hard to pick out anything more than cedar and a bit of cream.

This one was a bummer. It didn't taste bad, it was just mediocre. No idea what the box age was on this, so maybe it needed more time down. 86/100
