sho671 Posted May 3, 2022 Posted May 3, 2022 Another reason I have more robustos in my stash is that the brand samplers that I've bought tend to be made up of them. This is the first Lampert I've tried from a four cigar sampler. Construction was perfect with a great draw and burn line that didn't need to be touched up. The ash was solid that held on for between one to two inches. Flavor-wise it opened up with a very woody note, that transitioned to more of a grassy/hay in the second third. Not much changed after that. I didn't pick up too much spice on the tongue or on the retrohale. It was an average to good cigar and I'm looking forward to what the other Lampert blends have in store. 2/5 2
