SLR Regios LAT DIC 18 (CLvROWAS)

I picked the Regios as I wanted something light with an Easter morning coffee.

I have always enjoyed the Regios and thought they can put up a good fight against a Cohiba, especially on the value/price point.

 

 

1st:

Draw was on the open side and started a little hot. I was surprised as the construction and pack was spot on. I picked up mainly woody notes.

 

2nd: this is where I find a good Regios will pick up with berries or I have had like fruit gum like taste but unfortunately this didn’t have much fruitiness. I did pick up a sweet note which was seemed more like a sweet tobacco/molasses.

 

3rd: cedar, coffee, with the prominent note being woody continued. The cigar did go out on me once.

 

This box has been a very good one, this was the exception. I was wanting more as I have had much better examples. So today’s Regios did not stand up against my favourite robusto, the CoRo.
