Popular Post Kaptain Karl Posted April 17, 2022 Popular Post Posted April 17, 2022 Why the Esmeralda? Well, because it rivals Cohiba in my book for being one of the new regular production cigars that can routinely push past that 95 point mark. Unlike Cohiba however, it doesnt need 18-36 months or more of rest for its best flavor profile to come foward. This box of 12 began killing it right out of the gate with 8 months rest from the box date! 1/3: Black coffee, butter and heavy sweet cream. Rich and opulent. Some nut and pastry pokes in as well. Unfortunately, it's a little under filled. It's a fast burn and tunneling a bit. 2/3: The tunneling is back under control and the heavy cream and coffee return. Definitely more of a conventional flavor profile off this one than I've got off others in this box. A few of them had a very clear apple pie flavor that was one of the best flavors I've ever gotten from a cigar. However the flavors are very rich! 3/3: The burn gets a little wonky here. Wood enters the profile. Still mainly coffee and heavy cream with a few other secondary flavors like nut and wood coming in and out. Overall, not the best from this box, probably the least impressive. However, it was still very good, just hard to match some of the epic masterpieces that have came out of this box! 92 20
havanaclub Posted April 17, 2022 Posted April 17, 2022 They truly are phenomenal cigars. Mind you they should be at the price tag. Trinny is probably my favourite marca and these are just exceptional. Nice review. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2
