Popular Post jfestrelabr Posted March 16, 2022 Popular Post Posted March 16, 2022 Hello, I recently received from a friend who returned from Havana a box of Hoyo de Monterrey serie Le Hoyo Rio Seco, a box of 10 cigars. According to him the box was bought at the casa del habano of the hotel Palco, everything externally was telling me that the cigars were 100% but after smoking one I noticed a difference in the internal codes of the bands. In my old Rio Secos, the codes only had the numbering of the ring (Cepo) and in these new ones I found in addition to the numbering some letters. LH - RS56 (I did a search and found nothing about it). I understood that the letters described the cigar, (LH - Le Hoyo, RS - Rio Seco, 56 ring gauge). I'm creating this topic to mature about it and if anyone has any information I would like you to post it. I posted in this topic because as I had never seen these rings with this code model, the cigars can be fake. 5
jfestrelabr Posted March 17, 2022 Author Posted March 17, 2022 (edited) From the research they are doing on several sites and with some people I can now say with some safety that this new code has been used in the Rio Seco bands for some time, there are occurrences from the end of the year 2020. In other words, the codes are real. I would like to leave the topic as a form of information, because I couldn't find anything on the internet. I send a hug to the confrere from the Cubancigarwebsite, who promptly responded with his thoughts on this matter. I'll take some better pictures of the Rio Seco new bands and post them .
