Partagas D6 2018 (XNYRW3)

Still very new to this size being only the second one I have had so far. Construction is perfect and the wrapper is a nice colorado with some oil. 

Starts of with a blast of pepper and earthiness. Around Medium body. 

Second half ramps up a good bit. Still the same pepper/spice and the earthy flavor becomes more woody. A touch of bitterness towards the end. Could probably use another year to settle out. 

Overall pretty good! 45 minutes to smoke. Scary how some call these 20 min smokes but to each their own. Prices have come down on these and they can actually be found for decent prices now days unlike any robusto sized cigars. May have to stock up on these and loose the extra 20 min from the robusto. 

Pairing is an Italian roast shot from the nespresso.

I have a box of '18 as well.  I like them a lot.  For me about 30-40 min smoke. I like them if I'm out having a drink and don't intend to stay very long.  Absolutely cuts to the chase without strength slowly building like the D4. Great pic and post.
