The first inch started with some bitterness that I have noted more with Connecticut wrappers. After the bitterness subsides grassy and cedar notes emerged. That continued for most of the cigar with a little more pepper and harshness on the retrohale in the second half of the cigar. Paired well with the milk in my coffee. The size of the cigar was a little longer than I would have liked to sit out watching the rain fall in the morning, but I can think of way worse ways to start the day.
