There were these three apprentice Monks whose order included a vow of silence. The only speaking allowed was, once a year, ONE of them could utter one sentence only. So, the first year, after much deliberation, the chosen Monk said:

"I think, Life... is like a Deep Well."

Now, they pondered on this, and went about their daily lives. At the appointed time the next year, the second Monk said:

"I don't really think that Life... is like a Deep Well."

Then, they returned to their daily routines, and another year passed by. At the appointed time, the third Monk said:

"I'm tired of all this constant bickering, I'M LEAVING!"
