Popular Post djrey
From a box of 10 with a touch over 2 years of age now. Construction is firm but acceptable. Wrapper is a nice colorado with a very light touch of rosado. Looks great. The opening is light and wispy. Notes of pepper and coffee mingle together but never make it past a light bodied smoke. Eagerly waiting for more at this point.. Second third has picked up a touch, but the flavors still seem fleeting. Body is light to medium. Final third and we get some more action. Medium bodied. Earthy spice combined with a latte. This is what the entire cigar should have been. This cigar was frustrating. The cigar burned great but took forever to really do anything. At this point I would take a D4 all day long. Maybe this one was a fluke as I have enjoyed aged P2's in the past. Or maybe it needs age, idk. Regardless, a pretty mellow cigar for most of the smoke considering its a partagas. 87 pts. 6
dshot
Good review. I'm gonna say fluke. "19 was a good year for this cigar IMO.
SCgarman
Strange to see such white ash. Normally grey and black.
