El Presidente Posted October 6, 2021 Posted October 6, 2021 Red list means 11 nights hotel quarantine upon return. That isn't going to happen. Hopefully next review. https://www.standard.co.uk/news/uk/uk-travel-advice-covid-pandemic-fco-red-list-bangladesh-gambia-malaysia-b959169.html There are currently 54 countries on the list, such as Mexico, Cuba, all of mainland South America, and southern and eastern Africa. Anyone arriving in the UK from a location in the red tier must spend 11 nights in a quarantine hotel. This costs £2,285 for solo travellers, making such trips unaffordable for many people. A decision on which countries will be removed from England's red list is expected to be made following a meeting of Government ministers on Thursday. The devolved administrations in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland set their own travel rules but have recently mirrored announcements made in Westminster. 2

ha_banos Posted October 10, 2021 Posted October 10, 2021 Will be removed from tomorrow https://www.gov.uk/guidance/red-list-of-countries-and-territories?priority-taxon=774cee22-d896-44c1-a611-e3109cce8eae But how things in Cuba? Still seems there are quite a lot of restrictions? Esp in Havana. I think I'll wait, god willing, until next year.
