The big mover in the BR25 last quarter was the Hoyo de Monterrey Double Corona which rose eight places to come in at number 5. Perhaps even more impressive than that run has been the sheer resilience of the La Gloria Cubana Medaille D’Or Number 4 which retains  the number one position while the El Rey Del Mundo Choix Supreme, Por Larranaga Montecarlo and H. Upmann Sir Winston are seemingly firmly entrenched in the upper echelons of the top 10. With Partagas Lusitania rising four places to finish just outside of the top 10 in 11th place, it has been a very good quarter for Double Coronas that just may reflect the dearth of large format Cuban cigars in the current global market.
