Popular Post djrey Posted August 7, 2021 Popular Post Posted August 7, 2021 Cigar has a very slight earth flavor in cold draw. Draw is perfect with a very slight resistance. Opens of with earth and a nice malt. Reminding me of the Oktoberfest beers that start flowing in this time of year. Nice. Malt is really dominating as we progress. Rye bread and yeast enter as well. Every now and then I get a passing of raisins. Cigar has performed great. Picks up in body in the last third but boy is it smoooth. A lot of talk about aging on here recently. I love these fresh and aged. Different animals. Nice to be able to smoke both. 92 pts. 7
SCgarman Posted August 8, 2021 Posted August 8, 2021 Agreed. I have an 2011 box and they are a total different cigar now then when I received them almost 10 years ago. Actually I prefer them a bit younger, they seem to be a little more flavorful 1

While enjoyable aged I think around 3 years is optimal.
