Ugh, this will be a review

It's taken me some time to realize it, but I'm just not a fan of Bolivar. Maybe I'm not lucky in getting the right sticks, but they never seem to scratch the itch.

This one is certain to disappoint. The cold draw is very tight, as if it's plugged and buggar all if I can't find the perfect draw. I end up giving it a double v clover cut like you would give a 60+ monster. It doesn't really help. The burn is perfect and the flavor of full robust tobacco is what I expect.

I drop a solid inch of ash and get a spicy leathery twangy cloud. It's still hard to smoke, but it is standing up to the marca.

It's good, I'd just prefer something with a touch of sweetness.

Getting to the halfway point, it's all sour orange creme, the epitome of Cuban twang for me. I'm reminded of a comment made on Vin Diesel's acting, 'like a cinder block to the face.'

The plug seems to have disappeared with the heat, the head and 1st half inch were rock-hard, but have softened nicely. The flavors are all still spice and orange, with no trace of sweetness. The band slipped off nicely awhile ago, but getting to where it would be, the heat is now making this a bitter mess. I purge and let it sit for a solid 5 minutes. I'm able to massage out the remainder of any plug and with that, this is an entirely new cigar, warm spices, baked apple, a hint of treacle. Still no sweetness, which is really what scratches my itch. I get to the nub, but the flavor profile is not worth it to struggle and suffer.

I'll give this 6(8)/11

Great cigar that I didn't like...
