ZigZauer Posted May 14, 2021 Posted May 14, 2021 Late April and early May is the time long and steamy summer hits Houston Texas. This week is good, partial cloudy sky, green glass, in the afternoon it was quite enjoyable to sit in the patio. But the humidity is high during daytime. Today is 75, which is the reason I picked this cigar. Loose end draw, 50 RG, perfect for the season. It started off with some good yet overwhelming pepper. Following the pepper come dark cocoa, chocolate, some citrus and weak yet distinguishable fruity sweetness. Like most Drew Estate products, this cigar did not go for complexity. It produced think almost silky smoke. It was kinda satisfying. As the burn progressed, I tasted some spice, which gradually developed into some savory spice. At mid point the light nuttiness quickly became quite noticeable. The sweetness became more obvious, and developed from fruity to something like salty caramel chocolate-ish. Overall a straightforward and pleasant cigar. During long summer of texas I usually smoke NCs during daytime and smoke CCs at night. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 3
