Popular Post Meklown Posted April 19, 2021 Popular Post Posted April 19, 2021 I managed to score a bunch of aged monte 4s from 24:24 a few times in the past few months. I like it as a good daily cigar, nothing too complicated and a good size for an easy evening. Not the first one I've had out of this box, and all that came before were sticks that I've considered good. Cold draw wasn't too complicated, notes of cocoa and coffee. Upon lighting, strong flavors of espresso hits. After a few puffs, the cocoa comes through as well. Dark cocoa bean, with little sweetness. It mainly tastes like a dark bitter mocha mix. In the second third, there's a tinge of sweetness that tastes like burnt caramel. All in, very nice velvety texture with great smoke production throughout. Draw maintained well and I took it down to the nub with no harshness. Score: a respectable 84/100. Nothing to write home about but it delivers what it was meant to. Happy to have it as part of my daily rotation. 6
