The Halfwheel review is worth reading (if you haven't already).

I am generally a fan of Lotus lighters product. They deliver at a very reasonable price point.

Not perfect by any means but you could spend 5-10X for pseudo premium brand lighters and get the same lifetime (Colibri/Prometheus/Bugatti).

Since Xikar has officially denied my requests for warranty service, I'm not particularly concerned with that aspect. I'm mainly liking the concept of a vcut and a lighter in one package.

I overall had bad experience with Lotus and Xikar.

For budget lighters I recommend vector. The Tripump (now Quadpump) is their pricy lighters but you can find them for about 80 on ffs. I use a few lighters I bought for under 20 and they are solid. Enough storage room for butane, lights every time, comes with a lunch and losing it won’t be the end of the world.

For higher end lighters I am happy with my Dupont extreme. I also a Le Grand and a few line 2, happy with them.

I owned like 5 lotus and 2 Lamborghini (lighters of course) and some Tommy Bahama (made by Xikar I believe) and Xikar. I like some of these but they generally did not last a year. No reason for me to pay over 50 for lighters like that.

Just my experience of course
