Hoyo de Monterrey Excalibur I (NC) - 2020 (L&SRW2)

This was a given to me by my cigar smoking neighbor who noted that it is one of his favorite cigars. I honestly had no intention of ever smoking it but at 7.25x54 it fit the bill for this week's comp so I lit it up. The draw was a little tight but it burned pretty well. Other than that it was horrible. I got next to nothing for flavor. There was some bitterness going on but nothing else notable. I stopped smoking it in the first third and lit up a NC Fonseca. The Fonseca had a little cream and a little pepper, which was significantly better than the Excalibur.
