Cabinet humidor and which way to go.

There seem to be some posts about this but could use some adivce.

I have outgrown my NewAir and am looking for something slightly bigger.  I was looking at the Redford Lite vs Avallo.  At $1800 for the Redford, the Avallo Cooled DDD seems crazy more expensive.  I am in Minnesota and plan to keep the humidor in the basement.  Not sure if I need the cooled or not.  I like the size of both cabinets but am so torn on which or if there are other options.  Fortunate enough to be looking for a new home with the intention of building a lounge down stairs and this is an important part of it.

Would love to hear members thoughts between the two or if I would be safe with none cooled.

Hey Jed,

As a former Minnesotan who kept his cabinet in the basement, I can say I did not need a cooler unit.
