Popular Post eg133 Posted January 16, 2021 Popular Post Posted January 16, 2021 From first light there's a very nice soft bread flavor with a slight pepper note on the lips. I'm pairing this with a Havana Club Seleccion de Maestros and a Guinness. Time is 5:10pm and the weather is a nice 82°F. Through the first third, the retro brings out a nice cooking spice along with sourdough that gently tickles your nose. Ash is held nicely for about 1 1/2". Going into the second 1/3 the burn starts to get wonky but the flavors remain mostly unchanged. I was hoping it would correct itself but ultimately I had to retouch it towards the end of the 2nd 1/3. The last third loses some of that sweet sourdough taste and is mostly some earthiness with some of that gentle spice coming back. Ended up putting it out about an inch and a half left, clocking in at about 6:50pm. Final score 89/100 Sent from my SM-N976U using Tapatalk 8
