Popular Post saltbox
Stored at 62RH for about 2.5 months. First time trying the marca! First third: Opens nice and smooth, creamy twang. Main flavor becomes sweet doughy cake. Leather appears occasionally on the retrohale. Milk coffee appears as a secondary flavor. The sweetness takes on intermittent honey and caramel notes. Overall it tastes like smoking a glazed donut. Middle third: Still nice glazed donut up front, but over the course of the third the flavor profile takes on some added richness underneath the light donut notes with some milk coffee on the finish and some caramel notes to the sweetness. Last third: The crescendo in richness continues through the nub, with milk coffee and caramel notes becoming more prominent through to the end. Overall: I would compare this favorably to yesterday's Quai d'Orsay No. 54. Very similiar cake and donut flavors, but this Trinidad was much fuller and richer in flavor and better in every way. 92/100 9
