Popular Post bkdash
Decided that a long lunch was in order on this beautiful November day in New England. I mean how many more 70 degree days are we going to get? Soon it will be parka weather! Went with a Bolivar Royal Corona from our host. Paired it with a cold brew ice coffee (black) and music by The Caretaker - Selected Memories from the Haunted Ballroom. First third brought sweet cedar, toasted nuts, cream with coffee. Leather and a faint pepper through the nose. The draw and burn are superb! Tons of creamy smoke throughout. Second third starts with an increase in leather and pepper through the nose. Cream with coffee and toasted nuts are big players still. Draw and burn remain perfect as the ash stays until about the halfway point. I of course end up wearing it like a badge of honor. Final third brings an uptick in strength and a bit of a salty earthy component. A faint cherry note is also present. This is where the cigar just wanted to go out but only needed a single relight. Ended up having to smoke this final third a little faster than I would have liked. Overall it was a great smoke and I'd give it a 90/91. Smoke time ended up being 65 minutes.
