As I said in my last review, JL1 have been consistent and a go-to for me!

Hole punch and the draw is a tad tight, nothing too bad but I have my draw tool out just in case.  These cigars are young and unfortunately came with a little mold issue so I'm not too sure what to think, but hope they smoke fine!  The cold aroma on these are strong and mouth watering.

These cigars are super smooth and I get hints of floral and fruity notes.  Flavors seem a little muted from normal, may have to do with the draw?  Smoke output was also low so I successfully poked it a couple times with my draw tool and correct that issue.

Can feel the strength picking up and the floral fruity notes change into a leathery, woody, and twangy notes.  Burn is going fine, not razor sharp, but wavy and self correcting.

More of the woody and twangy notes, but I also get graham cracker.  When I smoked my first JL1 I was confused and excited that I got a graham cracker note as I had never gotten it before these cigars!  By the end I could taste it's youth and I know I'll have to let these sit some more before I smoke another from this box.

I'm a big fan of Juan Lopez cigars, and the JL1 was my first box purchase after getting a bunch of samplers/getting boxes blindly.  This was still good but definitely not the best JL1 I've had due to the draw or youth.  But either way still enjoyed it more than most other cigars I've had - gets a 6.5/10
