RDB Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 The skinniest skinny. I’m hoarding the ones I have, but this seemed a good occasion. The obviously great thing about this cigar is the unique tobacco. No other smoke tastes like it. Savoury, fatty flavours (guancialle, cheese rinds) pop in and out. There’s a toasted fennel note. It’s a salami cigar! But also a baked yellow fruit sweetness, like tarte tatin. Fascinating. On the other hand, construction is really inconsistent. Often they are plugged. This one managed to tunnel, despite being the thickness of a pencil. In a box of 25 you’re lucky to have more than half behave well. That makes them expensive at current hen’s teeth secondary pricing. Roll on a new production run... 4
