First I have to apologize for not having the box code. This cigar was up on 24:24 Aug 9th (U.S.). I bought a quarter box and failed to record the code. If anyone could help out that would be awesome.

Also this is my first cigar review so I welcome any criticism for improvement.

At first glance this is a nice looking cigar. Some predominant veins running throughout. It feels firm with just the slightest bit of give. No soft or hard spots to be found.

Off the wrapper I get the aroma of sweet tobacco and some faint barnyard The cold draw gives cedar, earth, and a light spice.

The cigar takes flame very easy. The burn starts off a little wavy but evens itself out.

The draw is perfect for me. Just the right amount of resistance.

Right off the bat I get Cedar, grass, toast, and some spice (a mix of pepper and baking spices). The spice is more prevalent on the retrohale with a touch on the palate. After a few puffs I am surprised by the sweet toasted flavor that I keep getting hit with. My mind goes to a slightly overdone piece on top of a creme brulee....delicious.

As I transitioned from the first to second third there is not much change. The cedar remains constant with a slight uptick to the toast. The spice seems to have faded a little but is still noticeable.

About halfway through the cigar I had to relight, but it was smooth sailing after that.

The final third I didn't notice a major change. Maybe a shift between the cedar and toast, meaning the cedar was more dominant with toast in the background. These were still accompanied by grass, earth, and a sweet spice.

I found these flavors to balance each other out extremely well.

Construction 4/5
Aroma.           5/5
Flavor.            5/5
Draw.              5/5.
Burn.               3/5

Overall.         22/25

I can't say enough how pleased I was with this cigar. I wasn't expecting much since my impatience got the better of me and they have only been resting just under a week.

The only areas I could take points off was the burn (relight) and the construction. The construction was solid, it just wasn't the "prettiest" cigar I've seen.

The only disappointment I have is that I only got a quarter box of these cigars.
