Okay, since we're allowed multiple reviews this time I decided to see if Monte could redeem it's self. This Monte #3 came from a trade a little while back. I smoked his brother about 6 months back and was underwhelmed, so I did not have my hopes high. This cigar has a good draw, with a hint of chocolate even in the cold draw. There is a bit of that sour cuban twang as well.

On the open the notes of chocolate and the sourish Cuban twang interplay together interestingly. As they integrate they seem to have an almost black tea flavor. Strength in mild, trending towards medium. This is a lot better than the last Monte #3.

As the cigar progresses we start to see some sweetness replacing the sour. Chocolate plus marshmallow! Strength goes more towards medium. This is good enough to make me contemplate a box.

As the cigar progresses into the final third some wood notes start to kick in. Through out this cigar has remained pleasant, and has redeemed the marca for me. I'll give it a solid 92
