Popular Post Bagman Posted August 28, 2020 Popular Post Posted August 28, 2020 6 years of age on this guy. Cigar has a perfect draw. Light mocha color wrapper. Cigar is skinny. I'm not a huge fan of the super skinny. If I could, I would smoke churchills all day everyday. Or at least that ring gauge in various lengths. Not to fat, not to thin. I'm a big fan of Montecristo, even named one of pets Montecristo. I have had nothing but luck with the #2, I know others haven't. I have a box of 80th aging away as well as some Leyanda, #2 and more of the especials. I have a half box of dumas. A purchase I so far regret. But, I smoked them young. Maybe I'll do a review of one of those as it has been 6 months since I've last tried. Cigar starts out with a medium body and low strength. Flavor out of the gate is light mocha chocolate and cedar. Just the right amount of coffee flavor. As it opens up the cedar drops out and a sweet cream takes it place. The cream continues to build as does the chocolate. The coffee slowly fades away. While I'm thoroughly enjoying the cigar, I miss the coffee element. One thing I don't like about this size is the need to pay more attention to how often you pull on the cigar. Overheating is so easily done. Cedar came back and pushed out the cream. So back to a chocolate cream with light coffee. Last half was more of the same. Great burn, and the cigar lasted for 1:10. Really enjoyed the cigar. 7 1
