I thought this was pretty cool.

No date guide given on the carafe but would you like  to hazard a guess?

Based on the anillas I'd say late '50s at the latest. Most likely a couple of decades earlier as practically no recognizable current Marques.

Amazing! In addition to being a cigar lover, I am also a collector/researcher of antique glassware too. This carafe dates sometime from the late 1890's up until 1915 or so. It was made by the Perfection Glass Company of Washington, Pennsylvania, USA (about 30 miles south of where I am located, near Pittsburgh). They had a patent on this special design of carafe where a metal collar was threaded to the base, to join the neck to the base. This allowed for the two pieces to be separated for easy cleaning. However, the design never really caught on, and while they were made for a fair amount of time, they weren't really a popular item. The old standard remained preferred, being a single one-piece carafe where the neck and the base were one. I have a copy of the patent for this design around here somewhere, if I can find it I'll post it here later. A cool piece, but even better with the labels added! Thanks for sharing!
