Hot day so this Monte PE is paired when a Diet Coke. Cigar stored at 65rh and 73 deg in my upstairs humidor. 

 

Open draw before lighting but no remarkable flavors. Hit with a large dose to toasted marshmallow when lit. Much more flavorful and more of a lingering flavor than I was expecting. Perhaps it was the dud of an Edmundo that I had smoked last week but I had low expectations. Initial burn on lighting had a runner so not perfect but pretty good. 

 

As first third wraps up milk chocolate starts to dominate. Again beating expectations. 

 

So much anticipation for the rest of the cigar but just more of the same. Not much more/different.
