Montecristo No.4 - REG MAY 18 (MRW)

This box was stored in my humidor for a year and two months. I smoked one ROTT and I was not happy with it whatsoever. Even after 30 days, I did not find them enjoyable. Today I had one and it was alright. The wrapper was dark and oily but it also had some imperfections.  

Prelight: It was quite leathery and spicy. Draw was almost perfect. 

First third: Quite earthy and leathery. Just a tad bit of spice.

Second third: This was my favorite part of the cigar. Introduction of some coffee and cream. An increase of spice and leather. Had to touch up the burn one time. 

Final third: I might've been smoking too fast because it was getting a little hot but I did pick up an increase of spice and some cocoa. 

Score: 87

I didn't find this stick too complex and maybe it's just too young. I will revisit in 90 days. Thanks for reading!
