Love the presentation of these Lonsdales, like a Christmas present you can’t wait to unwrap.

 

Very pleasant pre light aroma. Construction perfect. 

 

First third starts very mild, lots of velvety smoke, cool, perfect draw. Immediate hit of cedar wood, Barney tobacco taste, with hint of floral. Sharp burn. 

 

Second third, burn going a little wonky however quickly corrects itself. Building to just under medium for me, floral sweetness more pronounced, still lots of smoke which I like, very mild spice building towards the back. 

 

Last Third, more of the same, back to mild, woody, creamy, maybe hint of dark chocolate? Velvety smoke all the way. No more spiciness, still cool almost to end.

 

Overall, quite enjoyable, and with a few years on it, always makes a difference. A steady 90-91
