Popular Post El Presidente
I looked at my larger desktop Saturday. I have a 150 count Bugatti that I use as my aggregator. By that I mean that it keeps: cigars that at one time I thought I needed to taste. odd cigars that I bring home from my travels.....great, good, bad and indifferent. cigars I find in the inside pocket of one of my jackets 3 months after a boys lunch. no idea cigars. The odd vintage cigars that I have been gifted and put away to smoke "later". It was overflowing and while i have a second desktop to handle the overflow....it too was overflowing. What was needed was a serious "spring clean" in the middle of our winter. Seriously, Desktop Humidors would be a cigar archaeologists wet dream. Right at the very top were some 2020 nudies to smoke this weekend (blend XV). From there we were into the broken/cracked and plugged/discarded cigars, mix of old favourites, vintage, lost loves, overrated, gifts, customs, opening nights in Havana, launches in HK, Dortmund etc etc etc. Every inch that I went down equated to another 4-5 years of history. There at the bottom of the humidor were some Tony Borhani Bahia Trinidad from 1996 and I just had to smile. 5
