Popular Post Silverstix Posted July 14, 2020 Popular Post Posted July 14, 2020 Bolivar is one of my top 3 marcas. No convincing needed to pull out a BPC. I bought this aged box here on 24:24 last year. So far all have been 87-90. This one looks great. Clip the cap and the cold draw is a smidge tighter than I prefer but still teasing plenty of sweet musty earth. After lighting, the draw turned out to be perfect. Overall construction was great, no touch ups, and the ash held on for 1”+ at a time. Flavors are typical BPC - core flavors of earth, leather, licorice, with a hint of pepper on the retrohale, all interchanging over 1 hour. Not a super complex cigar, but certainly full flavored. These are a little more brash than BRC’s. I’d liken it more to a smaller version of a BBF in terms of intensity and that dark profile. Total smoke time: 1 hour Overall: 89/100 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 7
