Popular Post Habana Mike Posted July 11, 2020 Popular Post Posted July 11, 2020 BBF RAE ABR14 From a cabinet. Silky oily Colorado Maduro capa. Well constructed. 5:15 Saturday afternoon. 88o 39% humidity. 11mph breeze from the NW. Ice water for now. Clipped the tip, perfect draw. Earth, vegetal notes, cedar and light pepper at cold. Toast the foot and fire it up. Good smoke volume out of the gate. Dank earth, toast, touch of tannin. Underlying notes of blackberry. Ash is dark gray with black striations. Firm. Coffee, bell pepper appear toward the middle third. Poured a finger of Larceny Barrel Strength. 122 proof! Very rich Bourbon. Changes the smoke. The blackberry brightens. White pepper on the retrohale. Still earth predominates. Firmly medium bodied with an oily mouthfeel. Amazing smoke production! The heat and spice from the bourbon bring a hint of sweetness to the cigar. Finished strong. Barely a nub left. 7PM - 1 hour 45 all in all. Excellent cigar. Scored 93/100 - glad a few left in the cab! 10
