I have more hand cannons than skinnies, but because that's just a reflection of what's available out there, I chose to highlight the latter for this contest.  And because there are so damn few skinnies, I went with an old standby - the Montecarlos.

The PLMC is about as reliable a smoke as I've found, along with Juan Lopez.  These will no doubt be even better with another year on them - the caramel sweetness is there, but it can be a bit of a shrinking violet at times.  But the smoke is always elegant, refined and pleasing to the palate.  Some light cedar, a hint of tart citrus (when that really kicks in hard is when PLMCs go from good to great for me) and the ever-present PL caramel.  "Sipped" slowly, these always last me an hour or more and this one was no exception.  I love Montecarlos in these golden wrappers best.

I have been seeing a ton of people talking these up I have some PLPC but I am definitely going to have to grab a box of these.
