Popular Post RDB Posted April 19, 2020 Popular Post Posted April 19, 2020 This has been a very consistent box. One dud in about eight so far? And that may have been me. Sweet. Powdery, red fruited sweetness. Not a complex cigar, but exemplary of its kind. No great depth or complexity. But every puff is a pleasure. Light body, good draw. A touch of golden toasted bread. No harshness, no bitterness at all. I’m smoking it with peppermint tea (no fancy spirits tonight), and a gentle drink like this is appropriate. It would be a good daytime smoke. I don’t score out of 100, but I would say this is the classic late 1990s era ‘90-91 Parker Pointer’. Just a hair better than good. 9
