RDB Posted April 3, 2020 Posted April 3, 2020 This was my first smoke after recovering from the Coronavirus. I haven’t been tested so can’t be sure, but I’ve had the classic symptoms - fever, aches and serious loss of energy, sore throat and cough. But not the lung complications thank god. I’m 45 and in good health. Also I live in London and travelled a lot before the lockdown, so it all makes sense. Anyways. I also had the loss of smell thing, and that’s not quite back to normal, so I wasn’t sure this smoke would work. In the event... it was all good. Nice looking stick. Full colorado, maybe a touch over. Slightly easy draw. Perfecto burn. This came across as mild and quite rich: cocoa, supple leather, a good fresh twang. Clean sandy earth. Under mid-body, not too strong either. I only smoked half of it (don’t want to push my luck) but a good return to smoking after a couple of weeks off. Lovely in the moonlight. Score: a confident 1 (on the 1/0 scale). 4
UnoMas Posted April 3, 2020 Posted April 3, 2020 Glad you've recovered! I've gotten to smoke two RGPCs, and enjoyed them both. I've read people compare them to Sancho Panza, but I've yet to try a SP. Do you think they're similar?
RDB Posted April 3, 2020 Author Posted April 3, 2020 Thank you. And yes perhaps somewhat similar actually. I would say the RG is generally sweeter than SP. Both are characterful, good value smokes. 2
