Popular Post Silverstix Posted March 31, 2020 Popular Post Posted March 31, 2020 Bought a 1/4 box a couple years ago. The first 4 were all great. I went and did a box split with a friend on more with the same date and code. All are great looking cigars. Thin wrappers the color of coffee with a shot of cream. A raw tobacco aroma from the foot. Cap is clipped neatly, a well constructed cigar. Draw is right on the money. Starts off with a good amount of spice coupled with the taste and aroma of very rich leather. After several draws, the spice begins to fall and is replaced with a sweet earth. This sweet earth has - in the past - taken on a prune like flavor. It has been there in 2 of the 4 cigars I’ve smoked so far. Not this particular cigar, which is a shame. Leather is still a dominant force and would remain so the entire way. This blend is a great mix of sweet and strong flavors - sweetness, earth, spice, and leather compliment each other very nicely. Construction on this cigar and the others I’ve smoked have all been an A+. A unique blend that I think gets lost among the catalog of Habanos.
